On 5 September, on the sidelines of a reconstruction conference in Sebha, an important ceremony took place marking the ‘comprehensive reconciliation’ between the Tebu and the ethnic Arab people of Murzuq after years of conflict. This truce was approved and attended by the family of Libyan National Army commander Khalifa Haftar, Government of National Stability Prime Minister Osama Hammad, and House of Representatives Speaker Aqeela Saleh.
