On 2 July, a young man was wounded by gunfire in the As Sabiriyah neighborhood in southwestern Zawiyya. He later died of his wounds.
On 6 July in the early evening, two members of the 103rd Infantry Battalion were killed, another severely wounded by gunfire on the Bin Youssef Road in al-Harsha, western Zawiyya. The assailants belong to the Counter Security Threats Agency.
