On 4 September, an African migrant was killed and a Libyan was injured in a shooting following Friday prayers in Zawiyya.
In the evening of 6 September, another young man died after being shot by unknown assailants in Zawiyya. He belonged to the Awlad al-Saqr, one of the most powerful tribes in Zawiyya. For the time being, there is no official comment on the incident.
