On 12 November, port authorities at Mellitah port reportedly prevented the Proteus Philippa oil tanker from entering port and loading 600,000 barrels because it had previously transported barrels to Haifa in Israel. On 14 November, the port authorities of Misrata stopped the Turkish 82m freighter Norjan because it was arriving in Misrata via the Israeli port of Haifa. The ship was blacklisted for violating ‘the principle of boycotting the Zionist enemy’.
