Misratan Joint Operations Force arrests senior ISIS operative

On 7 September, the Misratan Joint Operations Force announced it had arrested a senior ISIS operative, Embark al-Khazm, in Bani Walid. The Joint Operations Force stated that the arrest was carried out upon the orders of the Attorney General. GNU Prime Minister Abdul Hameed Dabaiba, welcomed the arrest of Khazm praising the efforts of the Joint Operations Force. Khazm is accused of smuggling ISIS affiliated terrorist between Libyan cities as well as being responsible for the bombing of the coast guard camp in Zliten in 2016.
