On 19 September, two Libyan National Army (LNA) helicopters collided during a military mission, causing one of the helicopters to crash near Zawiyat Masus,100km southeast of Benghazi. Two LNA members were killed, Brigadier General Bouzid al-Barasi and Corporal Milad al-Asaiba. According to LNA General Miloud al-Zouay the crew of the second aircraft were unharmed.
