On 31 May, a joint human rights team from the National Foundation for Human Rights in Libya and the Human Rights Committee of the High State Council (HSC) conducted an inspection visit to the Tripoli Main Reform and Rehabilitation Institution (Mitiga Prison, which is controlled by Rada). The joint legal team assessed the conditions of the facility in terms of infrastructure, healthcare, detention conditions, and social services provided to inmates. It also reviewed the legal and judicial procedures and conditions related to detainees, as well as the judicial and security procedures in force within these institutions, through inmate affairs records and the periods of presentation to the competent prosecution and courts.
