On 30 January, Libyan National Army (LNA) Commander Khalifa Haftar received a delegation of Sheikhs & Notables from the al-Maqariha tribe at his headquarters in al-Rajma. They praised the role of the LNA in establishing security and stability in their tribal area as well as preserving the unity of the national territory. The tribe’s delegation renewed its full support for the General Command of the LNA in the war on terrorism and in imposing security throughout the country. Haftar emphasized the importance of the al-Maqariha in supporting the LNA and thanked them for that. Furthermore, he praised their ‘brave mujaheddin’ serving in the ranks of the army.
