On 14 April, a Libyan delegation, led by the Director of the Military Intelligence Department (and commander of the 444 Brigade) Mahmoud Hamza, made an official visit to Ankara where it was officially received by the Chief of Staff of the Turkish Army, the Assistant Chief of Staff, and the Chief of Military Intelligence. According to the Government of National Unity (GNU), the visit discussed ways to strengthen security and military cooperation between the two countries, focusing on training programs, capacity building, and improving the competence of Libyan army personnel in various disciplines. The Turkish side also organized a field tour for the Libyan delegation, including aerospace factories and pilot aircraft, as well as a visit to the Air Brigade.
