On 6 March, the General Department of Central Support of the Government of National Stability (GNS) MoI in Jufra (200 km southeast of al-Shuwayrif, 230 km south of Sirte) began deploying night patrols in all Jufra cities to ensure security and stability during Ramadan. The platoon-sized patrols spread out to secure neighborhoods, markets, and gathering places as part of a security plan aimed at combating crime and ensuring a safe and stable environment during Ramadan. The Jufra General Department of Central Support asked citizens to cooperate with patrols to help maintain public security.
