Fresh Lockerbie documents blame Libya’s intelligence for bombing responsibility

Detectives in Scotland have gotten their hands on fresh evidence from the Qadhafian intelligence services demonstrating a more direct chain of command over the Lockerbie bombing. The files were recently published in ‘The Murderer Who Must Be Saved’ by French investigative journalists Karl Laske and Vincent Nouzille, and Libyan activist Samir Shegwara. The dossier allegedly comes directly from Abdullah Sanussi and implicates him Masud, Megrahi, and a range of more junior intelligence commanders in the direct planning and testing of a suitcase bomb of the type that could go through a metal detector and would be used in Lockerbie.
