On 28 May, fighting took place at several locations in Tripoli between the Special Deterrence Force (Rada) Rada and the 444 Brigade, including the use of heavy infantry weapons. It is understood that a series of tit-for-tat incidents led to the clashes. It had calmed down by 29 May after the groups involved agreed to disengage, removing military vehicles and returning to their normal positions, at least for the time being.
