On 19 May, the External Security Agency near Souq al-Jumaa and al-Fatteh was reportedly raided by militias affiliated to the Benghazi Revolutionaries Shura Council (BRSC) in addition to militias linked to Mohammed Bahroun (aka ‘al-Far’, the ‘Mouse’). During the raid, nine members of the External Security Agency were reportedly injured and documents relating to ISIS activity in the South were stolen. Sources claim that approximately 1.5 million LYD was also stolen from a Jumhouria Bank. The External Security Agency is a branch of the Libya Intelligence Service (LIS) controlled by the Nawasi Brigade.
