On 6 June, the Department for Combating Illegal Migration in Benghazi has announced the implementation of new regulatory measures under which migrants are strictly prohibited from accessing the Benghazi Corniche and other public areas designated for family recreation during the Eid period. The department also confirmed a broader ban on the mixing of migrants with families in parks, streets, and all public spaces typically used for leisure during the holiday. It said this was to maintain public order and ensure the comfort of local citizens throughout the celebrations. Security patrols were deployed to enforce this.
