General Khalifa Hafter has continued to make progress in Benghazi, consolidating control of more areas of the city and flushing out militants. His next assault looks set to take place against the Al-Sabri area that is close to the Benghazi port and where many Ansar Al-Sharia elements are dug in. On 2 November, Hafter warned local residents to evacuate the area.
