Local officials and soldiers affiliated with the LNA blame the municipality of Ajdabiya, PFG, and the ARASC for the new wave of assassinations, which they say are increasingly collaborating with IS. This week’s incidents provoked local LNA officers in Ajdabiya to call for a new Benghazi-like uprising in the city on 15 December. While the local council in Ajdabiya and the PFG have attempted to downplay these sentiments, the next few weeks could see increasing instability in the region.
