On 1 November, Niger’s Prime Minister Ali Lamine Zeine, accompanied by a delegation of military personnel, arrived in Benghazi and met with Libyan National Army (LNA) Deputy Commander Saddam Haftar and the head of eastern Government of National Stability (GNS), Osama Hammad. The meeting reviewed avenues to strengthen bilateral Libyan-Nigerien relations and concluded with the signing of a strategic cooperation protocol.
