On 2 October, the Africa Intelligence newspaper reported that a high-level delegation from the Malian Azawad Liberation Front (FLA) arrived in Benghazi and held talks with the LNA Deputy Commander Saddam Haftar. The paper reported that the Azawadi delegation’s request for collaboration and support in military equipment has gone unanswered by Saddam Haftar. The paper also revealed that the Azawadi delegation asked Saddam to communicate their demands to his international partners to discuss avenues for possible support and lobbying.
