On 23 September, Government of National Unity (GNU) PM Abdul Hameed Dabaiba received in Tripoli the Chief of Staff of the Tunisian Army, General Muhammad Al-Ghoul, in the presence of the Chief of General Staff of the Libyan Army, General Salahadeen al-Namroush. The meeting addressed enhancing cooperation and coordination between the two countries in military and security fields, and discussed several issues of mutual interest—foremost among them securing the shared border, combating terrorism, and facilitating training and the exchange of expertise.
