Saddam Haftar discusses cooperation with Chadian president in N’Djamena

On 26 July, Libyan National Army (LNA) Deputy Commander Saddam Haftar arrived in N’Djamena, Chad and met with the Chadian President Mahamat Deby. The parties discussed regional issues of mutual interest and reviewed opportunities to strengthen cooperation on different levels to serve the strategic interests of N’Djamena and Libya. Haftar said the forces under his command remained committed to strengthening military and security cooperation with Chad to confront shared challenges and reinforce regional stability. Deby praised the role played by eastern Libyan forces in supporting regional security and stability.
