On 1 May, a young man named Muhammad Kamal Abu Sabi’a was shot and killed in the Wershefana area by gunmen.
On 2 May, Mahmoud Al-Naas, a resident of Zawiyya, was shot with multiple bullets by gunmen who then fled the scene. The incident occurred in front of Al-Nouran Hospital on the coastal road in Zawiyya, according to local sources. Following the incident, the coastal road in the Sabriya area, specifically in front of the elderly care centre, was closed amidst heightened tensions in the area.
On 3 May, five Al-Ittihad Club fans were shot in the legs and injured during clashes with security forces while celebrating the team’s ninth Libyan Handball Cup victory outside the club’s headquarters in the Bab Bin Ghashir area of Tripoli.
On 5 May, Abdulbasit Al-Faqi, a resident of the Janan Atiya area in the city of Al-Ajilat, was shot in the morning by gunmen who subsequently fled.
