On 28 March, clashes took place in Ghariyan (south-west of Tripoli in the Nafousa Mountains) between members of the 444 Combat Brigade and the 10th Support and Assistance Force (both under the Government of National Unity’s Ministry of Defence) due to a dispute over securing the Al-Hira Gate. The 444 Brigade reportedly detained Nasser Shatiba, commander of the 10th Force, and some companions near al-Hira Gate, resulting in skirmishes. Shortly after, the 444 Brigade released Shatiba who confirmed the incident was resolved.
