On 10 March, reports circulated on Egyptian social media indicate that around 20 Egyptian workers were detained by forces affiliated with Khalifa Haftar in Benghazi. They worked for Khalifa Holding Group and were detained after posting a video online complaining about a three month delay in the payment of their wages and saying they would stop work until they were paid. The workers also appealed to Egyptian authorities to intervene, saying they had been subjected to poor treatment at the work site.
