On 10 February, the Government of National Unity’s (GNU) Ministry of Interior reported the theft of 8 million dinars from Al-Aman Bank near the al-Riyayna area in the Western Mountains by an unidentified group. Security authorities have not disclosed the group’s identity. They say they have begun investigating the circumstances of the theft and are tracking down the perpetrators.
