On 12 November, Libyan National Army (LNA) commander Khalifa Haftar reportedly appointed Major General Ahmed Adam Salem Al-Darsi as Chief of Staff of the Ground Forces under Resolution No. 300 of 2025. That was the position previously held by his son Saddam Haftar.
