Agenzia Nova reports that Libyan National Army (LNA) Commander Khalifa Haftar has issued a series of decrees modifying the structure of military units operating in the Fezzan and the central-eastern part of the country. This includes the creation of three new brigades: the conversion of the 604th Sirte Support Force (a Madkhali Salafist group) into the 604th Infantry Brigade, based in Sirte and surrounding areas; the conversion of the 173rd Brigade, led by Aglas al-Tarqi and based in Awbari, into the 173rd Commando Brigade; and the conversion of the Battalion 101 into Brigade 101 under the command of Salafi Sheikh Ahmed al-Shamikh.
