On 10 October, during Friday protests in Misrata, the Misrata movement against the settlement of foreigners and illegal immigration praised the efforts of the security and police forces in confronting illegal immigration and protecting national security, stressing the need to empty the informal housing of migrants within villages and cities, deport them according to the law, and prosecute all those involved in human trafficking.
