On 3 October, the Libyan National Army’s (LNA) 116 Infantry Brigade claimed to have captured a ‘terrorist cell’ accused of undertaking civilian kidnappings and murders between Jufra and Sebha. According to reports, the captured group – comprising 3 Libyans and 7 African nationals — did not resist arrest. They were discovered in possession of light weapons and ammunition.
