On 18 April, a motorcade with Libyan National Army (LNA) Military Governor and On 18 April, a motorcade with Libyan National Army (LNA) Military Governor and LNA chief of Staff Abdulrazzaq al-Nadhouri was attacked by a VBIED as it moved through Sidi Khalifa, north of Benghazi, around noon local time. A Syrian national passing by was killed and three others were wounded. Nadhouri was not injured in the incident. The LNA media office later claimed “terrorist sleeper cells” conducted the attack.
On 22 April, the DMSC, which is currently in the control of the city of Derna, released a conciliatory statement calling for an end to the conflict between itself and the Libyan National Army (LNA).
